OMG! Shocked Eyewitnesses Say Lindsay Lohan Hit A Baby With Her Car & Drove Away!

60867048 Robert Pattinson is so worried about hanky panky going on during his girlfriend’s racy scenes with Viggo that now he’s planning on hanging out on-set…ALOT
Guess what, BFFs? Robert Pattinson is JEALOUS over one of  GF Kristen Stewart’s good-looking new male co-stars — and it isn’t the young and hot Garrett Hedlund or Sam Riley, either! Nope, his real beef is with Viggo Mortensen – who, at 51, is more than twice K-Stew’s age!

“Rob plans on being on the set of On the Road, not because he has a role in the drama, but because Kristen has a real risque part!” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “There are a lot of sex scenes including a threesome, and Rob wants to make sure that it’s all pretend from the start and finish of the film.”

Furthermore, the 24-year-old British hunk wasn’t happy that Kristen, 20, decided to take the role of  sexually promiscuous young Marylou Moriarty, the wife of Garrett’s troubled drifter, Dean, in the big screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s Beat Generation novel in the first place!  “He didn’t like that Kristen was even considering taking this role. He understands that she doesn’t want to be known as just Bella from Twilight, and he’s doing the same thing with his own career, but he didn’t take on a role as risque as hers!”

The fact that sexy Viggo is in the film as Old Bull Run, a married druggie pal of Dean’s, is causing a rift between the Twilight lovers. “He’s very jealous,” our insider says. “Kristen told him she didn’t want him on the set because it would make her feel uncomfortable, but Rob said he’s going to be there. Especially now that her scenes are with Viggo, who is very very hot! Rob is free until filming begins on the next Twilight film, so he’s got all the time in the world to keep an eye on Kristen – and he will.”

Although Kristin and Viggo don’t have any sort of love scene in the film, Rob may be jealous because Viggo is an artistic, romantic, brooding guy like himself – just way, way older. Still, we think Rob may need to take a reality check on the jealous behavior! Viggo may be hot – but he’s old enough to play Kristen’s DAD. You’re way hotter — stop worrying!

Caught By Twitter — Did Paris Twit Pic A Photo Of The Purse She Was Carrying Drugs In?

Posted in Articles

60678136 Paris continues to claim that the purse containing almost a gram of cocaine was not hers, but a quick look through her twitter reveals she herself showed off the purse when she purchased it!
It looks like Paris Hilton’s decision to overshare every aspect of her life may have finally caught up with her as a recent tweet she made proves her now infamous Las Vegas drug purse was indeed hers and not a friends. Paris tweeted on July 15, “Love My New Chanel Purse I got Today. :) .” She then showed a photo of the same purse she herself deemed tacky and said she would never be caught wearing following her Aug. 30 arrest for drug possession.

It is unclear what will happen from here but it is pretty obvious that Paris is not telling the truth about the owner of the purse. Maybe this will encourage the former socialite to stop constantly twit picing, though one wonders how the world will be able to solider on without photos of private jet interiors and loud and outdated fashions from the blonde trainwreck.

Twitter has officially helped to capture its first criminal!

Paris Hilton BANNED From Two Las Vegas Resorts! It’s Her Worst Nightmare!

Posted in Articles

60419668 Paris’ arrest for cocaine possession has cost her dearly!
No more fun times in Las Vegas for Paris Hilton – at least not in either of the Wynn resorts along the Vegas strip. A representative for Wynn Resorts Ltd. confirms that Paris has been officially banned from two of the company’s Vegas locations — Wynn Las Vegas and Encoure.

Paris was arrested Aug. 30 in Las Vegas when police discovered 0.8 grams of cocaine in her purse (she has since claimed the purse was not hers.)

Her boyfriend Cy Waits, a former employee of Wynn Resorts Ltd., was arrested for DUI after failing a sobriety test. He has since been let go from the company.

Wow! Talk about a major blow to party-girl Paris! I’m not saying she deserves to go without punishment, but I am surprised she was actually banned from ever going back to a Wynn resort.

Debt Sexy: Zac Bissonnette Makes Paying for College Look Good

Posted in Articles

s-ZAC-BISSONNETTE-large300 Unlike most students, paying for college without colossal debt was no problem for Zac Bissonnette, author of the new book Debt-Free U: How I Paid for an Outstanding College Education Without Loans, Scholarships, or Mooching Off My Parents. His main problem? Being too good-looking.

"The publisher said, 'The problem with this book is that it doesn't say anywhere in the title that you wrote it. It looks like it's just some model on the cover,'" Bissonnette said. "And I don't know how to say this without sounding like a douche bag, but the art director was like, 'If you were ugly, you wouldn't need that subtitle.'" (More on this quandary later.)
Bissonnette, 21, is a senior at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst majoring in art history. Now, you may be thinking, "What could he possibly know about money? He looks like the newest cast member on Gossip Girl or something. I want to hear this advice from Suze Orman, please. Suze?" But in actuality, Debt-Free U serves as an incredibly handy guide in navigating the tumultuous seas of college and is indeed bursting with advice on how to get through college debt-free.

Other gems include not relying heavily on financial aid or scholarships, not going to a private college, how bonkers college rankings are. Not to mention the two -- count 'em, two -- references to the Bennifer mega-flop Gigli.

Bissonnette's conversational tone makes the book very accessible and even, dare I say, fun, so much so that it's easy to forget how much research was actually put into it. The subtitle (How I Paid for an Outstanding College Education Without Loans, Scholarships, or Mooching Off My Parents) doesn't help either. As it was pointed out earlier, it's merely there to remind you the book wasn't written by a 40-year-old and, while it suggests an autobiographical narrative, Bissonnette said Debt-Free U is about 90 percent research, most of which he did while still in high school.

Mushroom Hunting Claims 18 Lives In 10 Days

Posted in Articles

s-FOREST-MUSHROOMS-ITALY-large300 A bountiful Italian mushroom season has turned deadly, claiming the lives of at least 18 people in recent weeks.

According to Italy's La Repubblica newspaper, mushroom seekers have been so relentless in their pursuit of their favorite fungi, they have been abandoning safety procedures -- donning camouflage and hunting in darkness in an effort to scout remote, highly-coveted troves, Reuters reported.

"There is too much carelessness," Gino Comelli, head of the Alpine rescue service in northwest Italy's Valle di Fassa, is quoted as saying. "Too many people don't give a darn about the right rules and unfortunately this is the result."

Eighteen people have died in just a 10-day period. Many of them had forgone proper footwear, clothing and equipment and died after steep falls down Alpine slopes.

According to the Telegraph, the most recent case involved a 65-year-old woman who plummeted 40 meters to her death near the town of Sondrio, not far from the Swiss border.

Mushroom-hunting remains an extremely popular pastime not just in Italy but throughout much of continental Europe. This summer's mix of heavy rains and hot sunshine have produced a bumper crop of mushrooms in Italy this season.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta In Pakistan: 'Living On The Edge'

Posted in Articles

slide_10068_132270_large CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta is in Pakistan getting a first-hand look at the devastation that has continued since record monsoon rains caused intense flooding a month ago. He's sent notes and photos back from the road that show the extent of a crisis that most Americans could not comprehend.

"You have to be on the ground to be able to understand the report," Gupta wrote. "This is an ongoing disaster. Many think the flood has passed, but I am in an area that was dry yesterday, and completely flooded today."

Gupta also chimes in on why Americans may have been hesitant to give money to nonprofits working in Pakistan. The American Red Cross alone raised $32 million for Haiti relief through text-contribution efforts. The same campaign for Pakistan has raised only $10,000.

Gupta's theory:

I think the initial lack of attention was for a few reasons. First, it is an incredibly difficult place to get to, and to navigate once you are here -- and even worse with the floods. Also, there was no pyrotechnic event, such as an earthquake or hurricane that gets attention. It was a slow burn that became increasingly worse. Finally, geo-politically, this is a tough area for Americans to grasp, and rumors of Taliban attacking foreign aid workers did not help the situation. Unfortunately, it may make people even less likely to give.
The Washington Post's David Ignatius adds a few other arguments to the list. He believes Islamophobia may have a hand in the diminishing compassion -- he suggests that increasing our generosity could "break through the usual political barriers and resentments."

See some of Gupta's photos from Pakistan below. All photos by Danielle Dellorto/CNN.

How Sweet! Katy Perry Turned NYC Into Candy Land With A Sexy Performance!

Posted in Articles

17380244 Katy looked amazing while she belted out hits like ‘California Gurls’ and even her classic ‘I Kissed A Girl!’
Katy Perry made Rockefeller Center her own personal Candy Land this morning when she dazzled New York City in a sparkly performance on “Today.” Katy’s live singing was slightly awkward, but what she lacks in performing live, she makes up for in looks, oversized lollipops , blankets, and pizzazz. Katy swapped her summer mini-dresses for a sparkly leotard and looked radiant with shimmery makeup and her hair up in a ponytail, which made Russell Brand’s lady love stand out in front of her elaborate cotton candy set. Katy’s stage is not the only sweet thing about this performance. She also reportedly handed out blankets and pillows to the long line of fans waiting for the “California Gurls” singer! “I wanted to bring something sweet ’cause it’s so early in the morning, and lots of people are really cranky early in the morning,” Katy said.

In between performing her west coast themed hit single, as well as “Teenage Dream”  from her album of the summer and her first smash hit, “I Kissed A Girl,” Katy gushed about fiance Russell Brand. “He is very romantic, and no one else can compare to him,” she said. But Katy revealed she also has a crush on another celeb! “Where is Matt Lauer? He knew I would be here today, and he’s left me,” she said.

Shark Sighting On Massachusetts Beach Was A Hoax

Posted in Articles

SOMERSET, Mass. — A practical joker in Massachusetts has taken advantage of recent shark sightings and caused a scare with a fake fin.

Police say about 50 people were drawn to a Somerset, Mass., cove on Wednesday night after someone reported seeing a shark fin in the water. Police tell the Herald News of Fall River that several 911 calls came in to Somerset and Swansea police.

Responding officers soon realized that the "shark" was just a piece of Styrofoam cut into a fin shape, wrapped in gray duct tape and weighted down.

There was no word on who pulled the prank.

Several Massachusetts beaches have been closed this summer after shark sightings. Police cautioned that the joke could have caused a problem had there been a real emergency call.

From Life Coaches & We KNOW You Can Go From Train Wreck, To A-List Star!

Posted in Articles

062110_slutty_lohan_XXXX Lindsay, you keep getting in the way of your own success…but we consulted with three life coaches who say if you take the next couple of months to get back in touch with your goals, you’ll be back to your old (young) self in no time at all!
Time after time, Lindsay Lohan throws herself under a figurative bus, and we’re sick to death of watching one of Hollywood’s most talented young actresses consistently get in her own way by making HORRIFIC choices. Now that the 24-year-old starlet is free from jail and rehab, it’s time for her to finally get her life back on track — and HollywoodLife.com consulted with three experts who all explain how Lindsay can return to her prime with a little soul-searching (and even a little arts-and-crafts) during her three months of supervised probation.

Step 1: Stay away from work:

Her body is going to go through changes. She’s been on Adderall for more than 10 years. She’s been abusing it for a long time. She should go back to work, but not now. She should get back into the world slowly. –Los Angeles-based addiction and anger management expert, Marty Brenner
It seems like she’s had no peace – that she doesn’t even know what “calm” looks like. Before getting back to work, I would encourage her to create a sanctuary – figuratively and literally – so she can peacefully explore who she is and create a vision for her life as a young woman and as a talented artist. –Celebrity life coach and founder of RockYourLifeCoaching, Sherri Ziff Lester
Lindsay should take this time for self evaluation, self discovery and getting back in touch with her core needs and core values — and from that place, she can make some self-honoring choices. –Teen girl life coach, Jess Berger
Step 2: Get back in touch with your goals:

She needs to get back in touch with what she wants to do. She’s grown up in the spotlight and it’s easy to lose yourself in that environment. -Jess Berger
Many people who become famous so young miss out on developing an inner core, a soul compass that keeps us on track and away from negative influences, life tools like structure and focus. I would encourage her to stay out of the media whirlwind and focus on developing an inner core. -Sherri Ziff Lester
Vision boarding is great. It’s literally creating a collage of all these images of things you want to bring into your life. Having that tool is a really powerful tool to keep you on track. -Jess Berger
Step 3: Gain back confidence in yourself!

Right now she should focus on taking small daily steps to getting to her goals. In completing small daily action steps toward her goals, she will begin to build up her self worth again. –Jess Berger
Lindsay should eat right, go to yoga and do all the healthy things she can for three months. She should be working on her craft — she should be acting classes. It gives her something to do, gives her a purpose. To jump into the pressure of a movie right now is ridiculous. –Marty Brenner
Of course, we understand it’s going to take a strong support system, as well as intense psychotherapy for Lindsay to truly get back in the game, but easier things, such as going to the gym and setting new goals for her life, might finally make a difference. We just want the old Lindsay back!

Lindsay, we’re pulling for you (again) — please don’t let your fans, or most importantly, yourself, down!

Lebec Fire Forces Evacuations In Southern California

Posted in Articles

s-LEBEC-FIRE-large300 LEBEC, Calif. — Evacuation orders have been lifted for residents in the mountainous area northwest of los Angles where a fire has burned some 1,300 acres.

U.S. Bureau of Land Management spokeswoman Michelle Puckett said the orders from earlier in the day were withdrawn Tuesday evening as increasing humidity levels slowed the fire's spread.

The fire erupted shortly after noon Tuesday west of Interstate 5, near the small community of Lebec in Tejon Pass about 60 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

Puckett says no one has been injured and no structures are immediately threatened.

The fire's cause is under investigation.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP's earlier story is below.

LEBEC, Calif. (AP) – Fire roared through 1,100 acres of mountain wilderness northwest of Los Angeles on Tuesday, forcing evacuations as flames threatened dozens of rural homes, authorities said.

Firefighters worked in 100-degree heat in rugged terrain as airtankers, including a DC-10 jumbo jet, painted ridges with orange swaths of retardant to try to corral the flames' advance.

Fifty to 60 homes in the Lebec area were actively threatened, although as many as 200 homes had been evacuated, said Michelle Puckett, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
